“Grace and Grit” – The Movie

November 8, 2019 By Dennis Wittrock

“GRACE AND GRIT tells the true story of iconic philosopher Ken Wilber and his wife Treya. Based on the acclaimed book chronicling Treya’s journals, they fall madly in love in 1980s California and are immediately faced with challenges that tear them apart. They overcome by discovering connection beyond this world, and love beyond life.”

Financial Summary 2015 -2017

August 21, 2017 By Dennis Wittrock

Dear Friends,

Our team member Heidi Mitchell has compiled a financial report of the activities of the fund from May 2015 – July 2017.

For reasons of transparency, we’re posting it for anyone interested to download here:

2017-07 The Ken Wilber Gratitude Fund Financial Summary.

After the initial setup up of the fund (with $ 12,200 in legal, website, and other costs), we are happy that currently 90.91% of the money now flows directly to Ken, the rest paying for ongoing costs to cover the operations.

Thank you all for your heartfelt contributions, big and small, honoring Ken’s monumental gifts to the world.

With much love and gratitude,

John Dupuy and the KWGF Team

New Trustee – Dr. Bob Weathers

January 26, 2017 By Dennis Wittrock

dr-bob-weathers– by John Dupuy

We’re very happy to announce Dr. Bob Weathers as a new trustee on the KWGF Board of Trustees. Our dear friend and colleague Lynne Feldman had to resign from the Board due to personal issues. Thank you, Lynne, for your service. We love you.

I have known Dr. Bob Weathers for a number of years, both as a friend and as a colleague, and I have found him to be a man of great erudition, wisdom, compassion, humor, and loving kindness. Now let us hear from Bob in his own words.

I first encountered Ken’s writings at the beginning of graduate school, starting in 1979. He was young and brilliant. I was . . . young. His ideas formed the basis of my entire doctoral studies, in psychology and religion, and led to my corresponding very helpfully (and gratefully) with him through my mid-1980s dissertation on mindfulness meditation.

I’ve taught Ken’s materials across the decades, from A Sociable God to Sex, Ecology, Spirituality to Marriage of Sense and Soul. I doubt there’s a graduate student in psychology whom I’ve taught or supervised who hasn’t been directly influenced by Ken’s enormous contributions.

This opportunity to give back now, even in some small way, in deep appreciation for all Ken has been in my personal and professional life, is my greatest joy and privilege.

March 24, 2015 By zoosphere Leave a Comment

After a lot of work in the background, the KWGF team is happy to launch our website, which will be the main vehicle to fulfill the purpose of The Ken Wilber Gratitude Fund.

We would particularly like to thank Marco and Kayla Morelli, who provided the website programming and the design work.

May this fund enable all of you to give back to Ken in your own way and share the gift of Integral theory and practice in ever wider circles of care and embrace with the world at large.FacebooktwitterlinkedinmailFacebooktwitterlinkedinmail
